The flight simulator lets you feel what it is like to fly a real plane, so that visitors can experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft. You’ll also be able to take in the sights from high up above on one of their many flights simulators! Visitors will walk away with memories and education about how aviation has shaped our world over time. 

Located at McCarran International Airport (Terminal One) this museum covers 100 years of Aviation history while giving people who visit a chance to learn more about its impact on society through artifacts, rare airplanes, films and interactive exhibits. The museum is open around the clock but visitors are encouraged to book reservations since it can get crowded at times during peak tourist seasons such as New Year’s Eve celebrations. 

The open-air museum tells the stories of Southern Nevada’s aviation history, from the first flight in 1920 through the introduction of jets.

The museum showcases McCarran’s rich aviation history, including the first flight in Southern Nevada on July 17, 1920. 

It also features a replica of Terminal One from when it opened in 1973 and an interactive exhibit called “Airport In A Box” that allows visitors to explore different airports around the world without leaving Las Vegas.

Visitors can enjoy exhibits such as “Nevada Aviation Presents: The Golden Age Of Flight”, which tells the story of how air travel helped shape modern day Las Vegas; “Las Vegas From Above,” exploring what life is like for typical residents living near suburban neighborhoods or at higher elevations; and more than 100 historic aircrafts to get up close with real-life planes.
